Yesterday, 1 February, we welcomed former Dundee manager and Manchester United assistant manager Archie Knox as our guest speaker for our Football Memories group in partnership with Alzheimer’s Scotland. It has seen a 25% rise in numbers attending the programme, and we thank Archie for giving up his own time to help the Community Trust, which is appreciated by all.
Since the turn of the year, we have seen record-breaking numbers attend our girl’s football classes at the Regional Performance Centre and Gardyne Campus and a 10% weekly rise in individuals receiving help from our Dinner Dens initiative, in partnership with the SPFL Trust.
Greg Fenton, Community Trust CEO, said “It’s fantastic to see our Community Trust help individuals and families and for the Charity to keep growing. I would like to thank all of our funders, partners, staff and volunteers who have supported the Charity, and we are very grateful to Archie Knox for giving up his own time to support our Community Trust programmes.”
