Dundee Football Club Community Trust (DFC CT) are delighted to confirm that it has been awarded £32,700 from the Adapt and Thrive Fund to support the growth in the charity in line with our strategic plan.
Since August 2020, the Trust has grown with the appointment of three additional staff members within our Criminal Justice, Education and Administrative departments. The Trust has committed to employing a number of young people via our 1893 Education Programme on 12 months contracts which starts on 19 August and has supported young people into work via the Community Job Scotland Grant, in which the Trust has employed two young people via this grant.
Community Manager Greg Fenton spoke about the importance of the grant from the Adapt and Thrive Fund, “Everyone connected to the Trust would like to thank the funders for this grant that will help the Trust to adapt to the challenges every organisation will face as we recover from the pandemic and thrive to support more individuals and families in our communities. In the next few weeks we will be aiming to implement the next stage of our strategic plan which will enable the Trust to grow and support our communities.”
