Dundee FC Community Trust is embarking on an exciting journey, and we invite individuals/businesses to join us as a Community Partner and to create a legacy for the individuals we work with in Dundee.
Dundee FC Community Trust was founded in 2017 with the simple premise to use the power of sport to inspire and support people in Dundee and further afield. Just knowing that Dundee FC cares has proven to be a huge source of motivation for individuals facing difficulties in their lives. We’re using the ‘power of football’ to promote health, education, and inclusion in one of the most socially deprived cities in Scotland, and our various international ties have taken the Dundee FC and Dundee FC Community Trust names far and wide.
Since we were founded, we have been recognised and awarded by the Scottish Government for the work we do in the community and are committed to delivering change and transforming lives in Dundee. We are embarking on an extraordinary project that will result in a sporting centre of excellence for the community, the centrepiece being an all-weather Astroturf pitch on the grounds of Dundee & Angus College Gardyne Campus, which we are seeking funds for.
The Trust has agreed to a lease with D&A College that will result in the pitch benefitting families, young people, seniors, and individuals with special needs as well as D&A College students through our highly regarded community programmes and our newly formed Dundee FC women’s team and girl’s academy. The new pitch will enable us to enhance our current offer and provide a home for our women’s team and girls’ academy, and I would like you to join us and be part of delivering change and transforming lives.
