NHS Tayside Community Innovation Grant

Dundee FC in the Community Trust Health & Wellbeing Project are delighted to have received funding from the NHS Tayside Community Innovation Fund, funded through the Tayside Health Fund the charity for NHS Tayside. The Trust is delighted with the funding that will be aimed at delivering a new hillwalking club, which has many health and social benefits to the participants.

 

Richard McIntosh, Spokesperson of NHS Tayside Community Innovation Fund said “The Charitable Fund Committee were delighted to support this Innovative and Health related project. Dundee FC Community Trust are uniquely placed to be pro-active within the most vulnerable communities to help facilitate healthy outdoor activities that will make a valuable contribution in bringing some of the most vulnerable people together after the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown.

 

Greg Fenton, Community Trust Manager said “We would like to thank the NHS Tayside Community Innovation Fund for their grant, this will help the Trust deliver our hillwalking group which will help the health and wellbeing of our community. We now ask anyone interested in attending our hillwalking group to get in touch with the Trust and we aim to start the group very soon.”
