Dundee FC in the Community Trust is the charity of Dundee Football Club – we’re the club’s way of giving back. We use the power and passion of the club to transform lives in and around Dundee, helping people fulfil their potential to be more involved, healthier and empowered members of the community.
Working with DFC in the Community Trust is highly rewarding, we engage and inspire hundreds of participants on a weekly basis. Since Autumn 2019, we have doubled the community programmes we offer ranging from Criminal Justice, Education & Health and Football.
Our charity supports many individuals because our staff is the most dedicated, passionate people who make a difference of the lives in our community. And that inspires us to make a difference in the lives of our employees.
The Trust is a place where all people are valued for the work they do. We want everyone to flourish, so we offer many different paths to career fulfillment. Our staff have regular support and supervision will management and all staff are placed on our growth and development framework so they can reach their full potential.

Full/Part Time Vacancies
We are seeking volunteers to join our fantastic team and to give something back to our community. Whether you are joining the charity to gain experience or joining to use your experience that you have gained, the charity would like to hear from you! Currently our volunteers range from working in businesses in Dundee, students and frontline Police officers.

-Funding Officer – (Volunteer for the Trust and support your local community and be part of delivering change. Supporting management you will identify grants within the Trusts strategic aims and objectives and support Trust in applying for the grants. Based: Dens Park Stadium, Community Centre).
–Educational/Health Assistant (You will be supporting staff in sessions that are educational & health related. This will include visits to community centres and schools within the Trust’s region. For example; This could include supporting employability sessions or reading sessions with children etc…). Hours Per week: As required. Based: Dens Park Stadium, Community Centre. –Sports Coach Assistant (Supporting staff in sport related sessions, namely after-school football classes (3pm-5pm) & exclusive DFC soccer holiday camps, that the Trust runs across the Tayside region). Hours Per week: As required. Based: Community Centre, Primary Schools & DFC CT training facilities. Closing Date: On-going. –Volunteer Champion (Assist management in recruiting more volunteers, aliasing with Trust management, agencies across the third sector, colleges and universities across the region). -Student Placements (Students from College or University (CLD &/or Sports students are welcome to apply for placements with the Trust. Please email the Community Manager for further details).
*We ask for volunteers to give a minimum of 2hours a week. Based on your experience we will allocate you to an appropriate programme to ensure a satisfying experience for both the charity and the volunteer. Full training will be given and sports clothing will be provided if required. Please send an email setting out your interest, experience and availability. An informal chat or formal interview will then take place with the Community Manager.
***All applicants (contracted or volunteers) will be subject to enhanced disclosure checks as all of our programmes involve working with vulnerable people. Failure to comply with this request will result in your application being withdrawn.
