Statement from Trust – Coronavirus (Covid-19)

March 13, 2020 / Community

Dundee FC in the Community Trust takes the safety of all our participants seriously and have sought guidance about Covid-19. All of our staff were made aware of precautionary measures at the earliest opportunity and the Trust have been kept updated with the latest local and national guidance on Covid-19.

Regrettably, all community programmes are canceled until further notice, that includes school programmes.

However, we can confirm that currently our Easter Soccer Camp will go ahead as normal at Monifieth High School, with extra precautionary measures in place for all participants and staff. We advise participants to sign up and book their place as there has been an unprecedented demand for bookings, especially week of the 7 April.  You can book via here; https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/o/dfc-in-the-community-trust-27620780453

Until our programmes are back up and running we have an online portal which will be updated weekly. The portal will have footage, memorabilia and quizzes so our participants can still enjoy our sessions. To access the online portal please click the link; https://dfccommunitytrust.org.uk/online-portal/

As soon as it is safe to return to normal duties we will notify all participants via email and our social media channels.

The safety of our participants is our main priority and we ask all of the participants to adhere to guidance from NHS inform. https://www.nhsinform.scot/illnesses-and-conditions/infections-and-poisoning/coronavirus-covid-19
